The main wing and wingtip plates are made of lightweight, racy CFRP (twill weave). The stylish aluminum struts are painted matte black.
The wing cross section and Gurney flap shape were designed using fluid analysis to achieve low drag and high downforce.
The struts are attached with a specially designed reinforcing bracket structure to prevent fatigue damage to the trunk panel from repeated downforce loads (MAX Speed: 210km/h).
Driving tests on a vehicle equipped with a rear wing and aero kit have shown that the driver can feel the improvement in driving stability, such as reduced understeer when entering corners, stability when turning, suppression of wobbling during full braking, and improved tire contact with the ground.
